Bunny rolls

Planning to have an big Easter breakfast or brunch with your friends and family? You want to serve some kind of bread but not sure what do to as not everyone is a fan of chelsea buns. I found the solution to just that problem..bunny rolls. Not only are these rolls adorable but they're very yummy as well.

2 to 3 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 packet dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup water
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 egg

Preheat the oven to 190°.

Put the butter, sour cream and water in a small saucepan and heat thoroughly until warm, but do not allow to boil.

Allow to cool, then add the remaining ingredients.

Knead until all ingredients are combined. If dough is too thick to knead, add small amounts of water until the dough is pliable but not sticky.

Cover and allow the dough to rise until double in size.

Divide into various equal parts and shape into oval balls.

Place balls onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and cut the bunny ears with scissors as shown in the photo above.

Poke the dough with skewer sticks to make the eyes.

Bake at 190° for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
